This page says what we collect when you use starlightember.com and how we use it. We sell to the United States only.

What we collect

If you order or email us, we get what you give us: name, ship-to address, email, phone if you type one, order notes, and payment details handled by our payment company (we do not store full card numbers on this site).

The site and our hosts may also log ordinary technical data: IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. The cart does not use cookies. It is saved in your own browser (see "Your cart" below).

We do not ask for your Social Security number on this shop.

How we use it

We use this to fill orders, send tracking, answer questions, keep records the law requires (taxes, shipping), and stop fraud or abuse.

Some orders are packed and shipped by the grower or maker we work with. Carriers get the ship-to name and address. Payment companies process the charge.

We do not sell your personal information.

Outside services we use

We use a few outside companies to run this shop. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job.

Stripe (payments). When you check out, you pay on Stripe's own page. Stripe handles your card. We do not see or store your card number.

MailerLite (newsletter). Our newsletter signup form is run by MailerLite. It stores the email address you give and counts how many times the form is viewed.

Google reCAPTCHA (spam check). The newsletter signup form on our home page and on /newsletter uses Google reCAPTCHA to stop spam. Google receives technical data such as your IP address and browser info.

Cloudflare (hosting and security). Cloudflare hosts this site and protects it. It processes basic request data, like your IP address, to serve and protect the site.

Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare may set their own cookies for these spam and security checks.

Our fonts are served from our own site, not from an outside font service.

Your cart

Your cart is saved in your own browser's local storage (localStorage) on your device. It is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

If you close the announcement bar at the top of the page, your browser remembers that for the current visit only (sessionStorage).

Newsletter emails

You can unsubscribe at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email, or email [email protected].

What we do not put on this site

We do not publish a farm street. We do not publish a cell number. Public mail is [email protected].

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax, shipping, and dispute rules require. You can email [email protected] to ask what we have about you or to correct a ship-to name or email.

Children

This shop is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
